52 Project: Windows

Today is a new installment in the international pet photographer blog circle known as 52 Project!  This week’s theme is “Windows.”

Last week, my best boy, Chubs, broke his leg.  He required surgery and will be off his feet for 6-10 weeks.  For a boy who loves to go on walks and enjoys his independence, it’s obviously not the happiest of times.

But…he does continue to enjoy his sunbeam.  And if he has to be chained to his bed, he prefers to have his bed in the sun.  So part of my duties as 24-hour Chubs attendant is to make sure he’s always by a big ol’ window.

Aww, poor Chubs! What happened? Feel better, little guy!
P.s. this is my first time “meeting you” and I just wanted to say I love your Sweet Potato name! So cute. :)

Poor Chubs! Luckily he has you to do sunbeam management while he heals! Get well quickly little buddy : )

Poor little Chubs! Mandatory bed rest is no fun for anyone…but I think you will be very busy being his personal attendant! Get better, little guy!

52 Project: Red

Today is another installment in the international pet photographer’s blog circle known as 52 Project!

This week’s topic is “red.”  We are free to interpret that any way we’d like, and for me, this was a good opportunity to catch my dog Chubs relaxing on his red balcony bed.  Summer in Los Angeles means you can find Chubs soaking in the warmth in his sunbeam every morning.  When he gets too hot, he comes in to sleep on the kitchen tiles.  Then he goes back to his red bed, and the cycle continues.  Not a terrible life…
