52 Project: Pets and People

This week’s theme in the pet photography blog circle known as 52 Project is “Pets and People.”  The goal is to focus on that special bond people have with pets.

My photo this week is once again from the Santa Monica Animal Shelter where I love volunteering weekly.  There are so many great people who spend their free time making the lives of these shelter animals a little bit better until they find their forever home.

High school student, Nicole, comes to the shelter after school to help clean both the animals and their cages.  And just a couple days after her bath, this little chihuahua was adopted!
